On September 28th, STEM Africa Fest Gambia and Africell brought together more than 1300 children between the ages of 7-22 at the GCCI Trade Fair Center.
The event featured hands-on STEAM labs, where students experimented with robotics, coding, and engineering projects. Interactive science demonstrations captivated attendees with real-world applications of physics and chemistry.
A masterclass was offered all throughout the day where the speakers discussed a range of topics, from cleantech to machine learning and AI.
There were career talks that provided insights into opportunities in STEM fields, inspiring students to envision futures in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
Exhibitors showcased their robotics projects, coding, 3D printing, arts pieces, medical equipments, games (PS5) etc.
